The Mountains We Carry

Released in September 2021, the novel follows a Kurdish family in northern Iraq during the Anfal genocidal campaigns in 1988. It is a tale of their pains, suffering, and perseverance as they fight for survival across mountains and refugee camps until they settle in the US.
