About Me
About Me
I am originally from Duhok, Kurdistan/Iraq. I have been in the United States since 1996 and currently reside in the Nashville area. I am a physician with board certification in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, in addition to an additional subspecialty in Kidney and Pancreas transplant.
I currently practice as a Transplant Nephrologist in Cookeville, TN and also manage several outpatient dialysis clinics as a medical director. I enjoy serving rural America and I love what I do.
In addition to Medicine, I have strong passion for writing. I also enjoy working with youth and students and have special interest in working with the Kurdish Professionals, which is a non-profit organization in Tennessee.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids and hope to be able to make a positive difference in this world, where we so greatly need direction, love, and coexistence.
